Additionally, factors triggering and/or exacerbating the pain are identified.

After the inquiry, if deemed necessary, the doctor examines you to clarify the location, intensity, warnings, and movements associated with the pain. If further investigation is required, the completion of these tests is requested.

Following this, your doctor identifies the cause of the pain (diagnoses) and discusses the necessary treatment options with you.
