For individuals who have undergone surgery for lumbar herniation but still experience persistent or recurring pain due to postoperative adhesions, this procedure is applied.
In a prone position, a catheter is introduced into the epidural space through the caudal region (coccyx) and advanced with endoscopic guidance to the problematic area. A high volume of fluid and medication is then administered to this area to address adhesions.
This procedure is performed under surgical conditions, monitoring all vital functions, with the patient under sedation, and using an imaging scope.
