Radiofrequency Thermocoagulation (RFT) is a method in which nerve fibers transmitting pain are heated and burned using an RF generator and a special needle, resulting in the interruption of pain transmission. This method is applied exclusively to pain-conveying nerves and does not cause any loss of function. It simply prevents the transmission of pain signals to the brain.
